Picnic Galore!

Yesterday was our Annual Church Picnic. We met at Toro Park in Salinas and we had a BLAST! The picnic was planned for 11am - 3pm, but we didn't end up leaving until almost 4:30. The weather was perfect for a teens vs. adults soccer match, a kids' three-legged races, two big ol' bounce houses, a wheel barrow race (people only), watemelon eating contest, more food than you could imagine and an even bigger dessert table filled with the most delicious desserts. After all of that, we still had time for a volleyball game, teen burping contest and sitting back watching the kids climb the giant oak trees that surrounded our picnic area. I got to know a few people a little better and enjoyed the laughter and jokes of the friends we know well. I left so grateful for the wonderful people the Lord has placed in our lives. We love our church family and look forward to many church picnic's to come...
